At Hornsby Heights Football Club (HHFC), our events are more than just dates on the calendar—they are opportunities to bring our community together, celebrate our players, and connect local businesses with over 900 families across the Hornsby Heights area.

With our largest season ever (920+ players) and growing female participation, 2026 is shaping up to be our most exciting year yet.

Female Football Day 2026 | Hornsby Heights

Date: Sunday 31 May 2026
Location: Montview Oval, Hornsby Heights

Time: from 9am - 5pm depending on draw of games on the day

Female Football Day at HHFC is a highlight of the season—celebrating the growth, strength, and future of women’s football in our community.

With more female players and female coach parent volunteers than ever before, this day brings together players, families, and supporters for a vibrant and inclusive community event.

What to Expect

  • A full day of women’s and girls’ football matches

  • Food stalls and refreshments

  • Kids’ activities and entertainment

  • Freebies, giveaways, raffles, and prizes

  • A fun, welcoming community atmosphere

Come down and support your teams, connect with other families, and be part of a growing movement in female sport.

HHFC Trivia Night | Community Fundraiser Event
Date: Saturday 6 June 2026

Location: Magpies Waitara (HHFC Major Sponsor) 


Our annual HHFC Trivia Night is one of the most anticipated social events of the year—bringing together parents, players, friends, and local businesses for a fun and engaging night out, tickets sold out last year, so get in Quick! Tickets on sale this week... watch this space!

What to Expect

  • Trivia rounds with great prizes

  • Raffles, auctions and more prizes

  • Food and drinks available to order from Magpies Waitara

  • Endless entertainment with friends, old and new!

MiniRoos Gala Days 2026 

22 August 2026 – Mixed Miniroos Gala Day

23 August 2026 – Girls Miniroos Gala Day

MiniRoos Gala Days are a key highlight of the junior football calendar at Hornsby Heights Football Club, designed to give young players an exciting, engaging, and rewarding game-day experience.

These events bring teams together from across the region for a day focused on participation, enjoyment, and development in a fun, festival-style environment.

What is a Gala Day?
MiniRoos Gala Days are structured so that players participate in three shorter matches across the day, giving them more time on the field and more opportunities to play, learn, and build confidence.

The emphasis is on:

  • Fun and enjoyment

  • Active involvement for all players

  • Sportsmanship and respect

  • Teamwork and positive communication

For Players & Families

Gala Days are a fantastic opportunity for young players to:

  • Experience a different style of match day with multiple games

  • Build friendships across teams and clubs

  • Develop confidence and match awareness

  • Enjoy more football in a supportive environment


For families, it’s a great way to be part of the football community, support your team, and enjoy a fun day out.

MiniRoos Gala Days attract strong participation and family attendance, making them a valuable opportunity for local businesses to connect with the community.
