NAFA SAP League (U8-U11)

At HHFC, we aim to improve the development opportunities of our junior players. As part of this objective we are proud to announce we have been successful in our application to the North Shore Football Association (NSFA) for a Skills Acquisition Phase (SAP) League licence in 2020.

  • Lift the bar in the Skill Acquisition Phase of development in NSFA to provide participants with a better football experience.

  • Create sustainable Clubs in a healthy local football environment.

  • Improve pathway opportunities for players and coaches (within local Clubs and to Representative football).

  • NSFA SAP League underpins Northern Tigers SAP.

  • NSFA SAP League also underpins Super League and Diamond League which in turn supports the NSFA Premier League Competitions.

Developing players in a high-level community football environment

  • 2020 will see the inaugural year of the SAP League within the NSFA. It will act as the top division of NSFA community football in the U8-U11 age groups. https://nsfa.asn.au/recent-news/nsfa-sap-league-announced/

  • HHFC will be fielding one team in each of the 4 age groups in the NSFA SAP League (U8-U11).

  • HHFC SAP League teams will be powered by our long term Miniroo’s training partner T3 Australia.

  • The HHFC SAP League program will run for a minimum of 28 weeks & teams will train twice a week with a Professional T3 coach who will also attend the weekend games (optional third weekly training session available).

  • All players interested in playing at this level should attend our HHFC SAP League trials (details below).

  • What if your child doesn't make the SAP league team? Unsuccessful players will have the opportunity to join our development squad and continue to receive quality coaching and football experiences. Further information on this will be provided at the Parent Information Night (see details below) as well as being emailed to unsuccessful players parents.

  • For further information on player pathways within our Association visit: https://nsfa.asn.au/players/pathways/
